WideAwake

 WideAwake

2020

WideAwake is a moving image and sound work by Miriam Parker that refracts life across scale, from cell to society. Scale becomes the lens, an eye swells to the size of a planet, a single cell reads as a world, and the frame moves between interior and expanse. The piece plays with singularity, independence, and interdependence, asking how meaning shifts as magnitude shifts. Presented at Fridman Gallery as part of the Wide Awakes 24 hour broadcast.
